Argumentative essay topics are important and will either make or break your grade. Now, don't get the wrong idea. There is nothing wrong with essay topics that are either full of conflict or full of contradiction, but the problem comes when the subject matter is an outright fabrication.

 

There is a difference between truth and falsehood. When it comes to argumentative essay topics, the good truth is what will get you through the course. You must always check and double check your facts that are a couple of years old no longer hold water. If they do not hold water, then there is no point in ever writing the topic.

 

Another way to make a good argument is to balance the facts with actual instances of your subject matter. This can be hard to do but the best writers know this. It takes a lot of practice to get into the habit of proof reading and being sure to see if what you have written is correct. One thing you should do is to write as if you have never heard the opposing viewpoint before.
